It is very important to be in class because we cover a lot of material each day. However, if you are absent, it is your responsibility to find out what you missed and make up the work. Folders containing make-up work will be located above the table when you enter the classroom. For each excused absence, you have 2 days to complete the work and turn it in. If you miss several days, the work you missed the first day is due 2 days after your first day back in school. If you miss 2 or more days, your parents may call the attendance office and request the work.
Work assigned before the absence is due the day you return.
Assignments
All assignments will be listed in the classroom, on the blog, and on Canvas. Every day you are to copy the assignment exactly as it is written into your planner. If you have questions about the work, please see me or check the blog. You will be made aware of upcoming tests, projects and other deadlines ahead of time on Canvas and on the blog.
Missing/Late Work
Any time you do not have an assignment completed by the due date it is considered late. Students will be required to fill out a “Missing Work Report” and place one copy in the turn-in tray and bring one copy home. Late work will only be accepted one day late and receive a 25 point deduction. Any work later than one day will be counted as a zero. Work without a name on it will be counted as late.
